General Description:
Land Size: 650 acres
Primary and Secondary Cloud Forest located on the Tilaran mountain range. The camp is on the 22nd kilometer on a highway runs North from San Ramon to La Fortuna and on to the spectacular Arenal volcano.
Phase 1 facility description:
Capacity: 300 people
- Chapel for over 400 campers
- Dining complex with full kitchen and staff housing
- 11 girls cabins and bathrooms
- 10 boys cabins and bathrooms
- A large gym with 6 hoops, game rooms, a general store, skate shack, infirmary, recreation shed, climbing wall, and a youth pastor private apartment
- A boys staff dorm (cap.: 30) and a girls staff dorm (cap.:12)
- 10 Guest Cabins (cap.: over 30)
- Timothy Lodge with a dean’s apartment, 4 quads. Rooms, a library/meeting room, living areas, laundry room and a full kitchen
- 5 Small group Ranchitos
- Recreation areas including the “Jungle Challenge” course, high ropes course, playing field, sand volleyball court, a small swimming/recreation pond and a large quantity of recreation equipment for a vast array of different fun and games
- Office and Welcome area
- Main Gate and Guardhouse
- Caretaker Residence
Sport’s Complex description:
Just across the foot bridge from phase 1 camp, we are currently developing the Sport’s complex. Scheduled to be completed in 2007, it will include the following:
- Large soccer field and baseball diamond
- Sand volleyball court
- Archery range
- Mountain biking trails
- Mountain boarding runs
- Large pond with water slides, the “Blob”, bike jump, rope swing, waterfalls, the “Trinity Pools”, sand beach and swimming areas
- Deck house with a small soda and bathroom facilities
- Large rec shed
- Numerous green areas and gardens
