Goals & Core Values
- We believe that the youth are the present and future leaders of Latin America, and therefore must be given the opportunity to hear an effective presentation of the Gospel.
- We believe that a well-structured discipleship program enables young believers to be effectively nurtured in their faith and brings about a consistent growth in their walk with Jesus Christ.
- We believe that an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ requires a disciplined, daily time alone with God which includes prayer, meditation, and a study of His Word; obedience in these areas should be driven by our love for Him.
- We seek to promote the spreading of the Gospel not only in Costa Rica but throughout Latin America and the world, calling young people to go, to give and to pray toward this end.
- We believe that the pursuit of knowing God's call for life's vocation is of utmost importance to each young person who desires to obey and do God's will.
- We believe that young people must rise to the challenge of demonstrating Christ-centered values, and can lead by example, inspiring those around them: their families, their churches and their communities. These values should be lived out in the context of the total person-physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
- We believe in the sovereign work of the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ and we seek to encourage unity and harmony in the Spirit among all Christian youth.
- We believe we are stewards of this planet, and we desire to inspire young people to appreciate and preserve the natural resources God has entrusted to their care.
- We believe we should strive to maintain a high standard of excellence in Christian camping to the glory of God in order to effectively reach not only young people with the Gospel message, but other age groups as well.
As a Christian camp in an underdeveloped rural community, we believe that our God-given responsibility is to make a coordinated effort to aid the surrounding community and its inhabitants, giving whatever help we can in the name of Jesus.
